Hey Mommers,

Hey so how are things going. It sounds like you are all really busy with Emily's dance and school and stuff. So things here are going good. Today I'm leaving and am going to be in Tampere for a week, with Elder Wiklöf, whom i was in the MTC with. so that's is super exciting. Elder Behnke is going to be in Helsinki for a leadership training meeting so I'll be in tampere while hes there. So I'm pretty excited for that. So ye, to some, I still do write Kevin and Matt. Reid and Erik I have written letters to but have never received responses, and I also get letters from Phil, and I don't get any other letters that than.. really the only letter(s) I get during the week is the one from you. Because everyone else is super far away i don't get them very often. so yeah that is my letter writing situation. Hm.. I'm trying to think of what has happened this week but not too much has.. We had District meeting on Wednesday and we all bought matching ties again for Zone Conference. So that should be fun. Um.. yeah that's really about it.. but take care and I love and miss you a ton!!!

Hey Pops,

Hey so things here are going good. The weather is starting to warm up now and it is about -5 - 0 degrees every day, so its really not to bad. It actually feels super warm compared to the -20 we had earlier. So we don't have too many investigators at this point in time.. However we've got one who is doing really good. He's a guy who took his papers out of the church but wants to come back and stop drinking and smoking, so we've been working with him and he's doing super good and has come to church twice now.. so that's really cool.

So we cant read any Finnish books, except church books. So if they're church related we could. But are you still reading the kalevala? I've been told by several members that i need to read that when I get home.

So everything here is going good here. But have a good week. I love and miss you!! Take care!!

Pointe dance

Grandma and Grandad A

This picture is of my grandma Awbrey. She is on the back-left. The bottom picture is of my grandma and grandad, Curtis and Joyce is on my grandma's lap. I love the lumberjack boots my grandad has on. He worked in the lumber mill......I think. He was a hard worker. When he wasn't at work he was working on the farm or out at his workshop working on some kind of project. I have tons of great memories out on the farm.
Riding the tractor, eating food right out of their garden, learning to shoot a gun,feeding the chickens, wondering where the pile of feathers came from and noticing that there were a few less chickens running around, fishing and eating tons of fish, exploring the land for arrow heads....and finding some, collecting lots of rocks, the money jar that us 3 kids would divide up as soon as we got there and so, so many good memories. Great times!!! I sure miss them.

Pointe

The ballet company Emily dances with is going around Utah county to perform this week. Last night I was one of the drivers so I got to watch.
This is the first time Em got to perform on pointe.......she did two nights ago too but I wasn't there. She, and all the girls did a great job. She has another performance tonight. I'll miss that one cuz of school but then another on Saturday. We will definitely be going to that.
I will also take some better pictures at the Saturday one and get them up.
Emily is a beautiful dancer!

Coupons

Here goes the grand total I've saved in coupons (for feeding 3 people......and Jaron on one weekend) for the month of February. Drum roll...........$68.56. I thought it was pretty good. I just buy stuff we need and use. I get tons of coupons but I just use a small percent of them cuz I don't see the use of buying food no one will eat. Did that before cuz it was such a great deal.....and then threw lots of it away cuz no one would eat it. So I think $68.56 is pretty good. :)

Tired

Yesterday was a killer day. I couldn't get to sleep til 3am. and woke up at 6am to get Em ready for school. I did run my 3 miles but it's all because I bought some awesome running shoes that are so light and comfortable. By the end of the day I was really dragging. I was thinking about Timothy and gave him a call. He was at home watching Kingston so I got to talk to him too. He didn't talk a lot but when I would say, "Hi Kingston" he would wave. Very cute!! After we talked Timothy sent me through his phone these pics. of Kingston. I love his curls and his fun personality!!

Even though I was so, so tired I felt very grateful for my family. My kids totally rock!! Each one is so different and doing so much good in their lives. I have awesome daughter in laws and the cutest grandson on this earth! I'm proud of them all. And Steve........he's the best, he's everything!
