When we first got here Dad, Nathan, and me could not get to sleep so we had parties at night. The funnest was at New Years. The fireworks loud very loud. It was bright too it lit the whole room. I went to dad. He came in with me. Then Nathan came in. We had a fuss ball torment. It was fun. We looked out the window at the bright fire works. That was fun. But mom was asleep the whole time.

I've said it before, but no one does fireworks like the people in Europe. What a fun way to spend a sleepless night.

Emily, thanks for the wonderful description of night time activities when you couldn't sleep. Here's my Haiku of that:
Fireworks and foosball
tournaments all through the night
laughing while Mom sleeps.

What fun you had. That's a lot better than playing solitaire. That's what I had to do when I couldn't sleep, as no one else was ever awake to keep me company. I bet you slept better the next night.
