We picked up our tickets and off to the slopes we went. Emily was worried, having never been tubing before, but all went well. There is a rope tow to the top. So we picked up our tubes from a deep pile of blue, yellow and red ones and made for the slopes.
The most important thing about tubing is to maintain a sense of coolness.
Which without a doubt, Nathan pulled off with unparalleled style. He was in point of fact the coolest one on the slopes.
The other important thing was to keep your feet off the snow. Which I mostly managed.
All in all it was loads of fun. Dad, Nathan, and Emily. Missing Mom (who is in Oregon). Making do.
My favorite part was getting towed up the hill and
just kicking back and enjoying the view.
The hot chocolate from the thermos after was unforgettable.

How fun! This has got to be the best way to tube because you don't have to hike to the top of the hill. Looks like you had a blast!
That looks like so much fun, they have tow tubbing around here somewhere and we keep saying we are going to do it someday. We are headed to the snow tomorrow, we might have to find a place to go sledding. Thanks for sharing, we I was there with you!
Wow - How fun. Neat you tried to find Dyann's Mom's grave. Keep up your connections with Midway, as some day your parents will share space with grandma. - Love you all and envy the day. Dad
That looks like so much fun. I am glad you all got to go and do that. And yes, Nate did pull off the coolness very well. It's a good thing I wasn't there. ;)
Chris
That looks like the most fun ever. I would have loved it, that is if I was attired properly for that activity. I don't know, Chris, Nate may have outdone you in cool there.
