Yesterday I started picking apples. We have tons on the ground and tons on the trees. So far I have almost a coolers full of apples. I need 3 or 4 more coolers worth for our annual making of the apple cider. It's become tradition in our home to have family and friends over to make some. My grandad's cider press brings back lots of memories of when I was a kid and he would make cider every fall. So I'm going to try and keep the tradition alive!!
ps. We're making it Sep. 18th around 1pm. for anyone who wants to try some. It's really good!!
