Make me dinner???

Last night, Christopher, Lesa and Maddox came over. Christopher asks if he could make us dinner tonight. Who in there right mind would turn down someone who wants to make you dinner? I don't mind cooking......it's just no fun in the summer when it's so hot. Of course I said, "YES".
Lesa helped Christopher so someone needed to hold Maddox. Don't twist my arm but I absolutely love holding him and it's a joke how every time Nana holds him he falls asleep. Here's some proof.
Here's some pictures of Maddox and his Auntie Em. Emily is a fun aunt and he likes to watch her. Dinner was awesome. It just tastes so much better when you don't have to cook and it was a fun evening!!!

That time of year

Ok......These may not be very interesting pictures to you but when some people see them they know whats coming! That's right.....salsa!!! It's the beginning of making tons and tons of the stuff. Tomatoes are also for sale at roadside stands so the beginning of next week I am going to take on the challenge of making so much salsa that it will last (hopefully) longer than 4 months. Last year I made 15 batches and it wasn't enough.
My jars are washed and ready to go. So go get your chips and we'll start dippin" early next week!!!

The birthday party!

Steve had a fun and very busy birthday. Russ & Cristy, Maureen & Alexie, Grandma and Grandpa Peck, and Luke and Lacy were all here. All the girls went shopping while the guys did their thing....going to Cabala's. At one store they were selling these green robes......so the girls all had to get them on.
After hours of shopping we came back to the house and fired up the grill. Nathan was the "griller" and did a great job. The hamburgers were so good!!!
Then we had cake. Dyann got Steve a very yummy ice cream cake.
Then we all had to go our separate ways. But not without taking tons of pictures first.
The cousins.
Sister in laws.......with Russ sneaking in.
Aunt Maureen with the girls.
Brothers and sister.......being their normal selves.
Me and Steve, Russ and Cristy. It was a fun day for all of us celebrating Steve's birthday. We really have to do this a lot more often!!

I just want to wish Steve a happy birthday. He is such a wonderful husband, father and all around person. Oh.....and a fun "fasha-pa". I love you so much Sweetie and I hope you have a fun birthday!

I don't think you will ever grow old. There is too much of a kid in you!!! And you're still the adventurer!

Shopping with crazy girls!!

Maureen is in town so that means.....shopping!!! We met at Gardner Village and had fun! Aunt Bonnie and cousin Lori came too which made it even more fun!
We had fun shopping but I think we had more fun visiting and taking tons of pictures at different stores. This is Emily in the reflection of a mirror.
Cute cousins!!
All of us outside of one of our favorite stores there.
Alexie with one of here cute little outfit.
Then we went to this furniture store and it had a big overstuffed chair that you SINK into. It was almost impossible to get out of it. We had fun taking tons of pictures in that chair.
And of course the cute couch we saw. Alexie looks perfect on it!! And the 3 ladies!!
It was so good seeing everyone. I can't wait till the next trip!!

Pictures of Kingston

I usually don't do two blogs in one day but I HAVE to get some pictures of Kingston on our blog. Timothy and Jessica have been really good at getting them up so we can see our newest little grandson. My heart aches to hold him but we will be going out there next month for his baby blessing.

Timothy said he is happy and doesn't cry much at all. This is a picture of Jess' mom holding him. He is so cuddly!!

Emily is so excited that he was born on her birthday too. I think they will have a special bond with one another. We can't wait to see you sweet Kingston!!! We love you so much!!

Maddox's Blessing

Today was Maddox's big day. Christopher blessed him and there was a huge crowd!! I think there was around 14 men in the circle. Christopher did a great job!!
Afterwards everyone came over and we ate and talked. There was tons of food! Enough for everyone. I don't think anyone went away hungry. In fact.....I still have extra pies!!
Here we are....Maddox's grandparents. Wade, Steve, Gayla, Maddox and me.
Darrell and Dyann.....Maddox's great grandparents.
And of course, his auntie Em. It was a fun day getting together with everyone and Maddox has so much family support....lucky guy!!!

And then zip down.

Emily said it was really scaring but loved it. Almost all the girls did this.

Happy Birthday Emily!!

Emily turns 12 today. She is at her first girls camp right now for the week. We did celebrate it Sunday but I still miss her so much!! Steve is up there now so he can be with her on her special day!! Plus we sent him up with lots of birthday cards, Twinkies and Ding Dongs for all the girls. Emily is such a sweet and strong girl. She is friends with everyone and always worries about their feelings. She goes out of her way to try and make people happy.

She is a very beautiful dancer and loves to dance. She also started playing the flute. Her life is very busy....if she's not dancing or practicing her flute she is off with her friends. Happy Birthday Sweet Emily!! I love you so much!!
