This is the last entry for the year 2010. Steve will make a book with all the pics, write-ups and comments for this year. It's fun to look back on and read. But I'm putting in the last of the pictures.....and I have tons of them cuz I got a new camera for Christmas and having a blast playing with it. I'm not sure the family is too thrilled but they'll get use to it.
Kierra stayed a couple of nights with Emily. They slept in the basement and didn't surface much except for food and bathroom. They had a blast together!!
Steve got hex-bugs and a hex-bug track for Christmas. All the guys got involved with it and tried to block them with hot tamales.
Timothy and Jaron saving the world!!
I love Kingston's facial expressions!!
Timothy NOT on an apple.
Kingston and grandpa.....I love these pictures!!!
Happy New Year everyone!!

laundry helpers
It's quite fun having 2 little one year olds helping you switch and fold the laundry. Opening and closing the dryer door was lots of fun beside seeing the clothes in the washer go around and around and around.
Maddox and Kingston were very curious how all of it worked. I could get use to doing laundry with them.....it's a lot more fun!

Campfire
Last night Timothy wanted to build a fire in the fire pit. Him and Jaron went out and got it started.
Slowly more of us came out till all of us were outside. The fire was huge! Anyone who knows Timothy....knows he loves fires!! Bigger the better!!
It burned for a long time and we got some really good marshmallow making coals.
They left today to head back to California. They are going to be so, so missed!!! I miss my buddy, Kingston!! But I'm so glad they came out and the wonderful memories we have! More pictures will be put up of their stay....cuz you know....I got a new camera for Christmas and have a ton of pictures on it!!

Christmas Eve 2010
It has been a busy, busy few days and I've been trying really hard to constantly have my camera in hand to document everything we've been doing. On Christmas Eve Darrell and Dyann came by for a couple of hours to visit. It is always great seeing them.
Me and my buddy, Kingston.
Four generations-Darrell, Timothy, Kingston and Steve.
Jaron and I had fun with the "sparkling cider" bottles. :) We had a great feast!!
Emily played the flute for us as part of her program.....
and then unwrapped some presents :)
Then we did lots of laughing and talking......and got ready for Christmas morning!!

Burger!!!
Last night we got to call Nathan for Christmas. We talked for about an hour and a half. And he really does have a slight accent. He talked some Finnish to us and answered the millions of questions we asked him. He said he's staying warm except for his feet and and hand get cold the fastest. He drives a lot and instead of putting salt on the roads the lay out gravel so they don't slide. It's too cold for the salt to melt the snow and ice.
He's in a little branch of around 20 people. The missionaries are usually the ones who bless the sacrament. In their bathrooms they have bidets. It was funny how Nathan described it :)
We talked about so many different things and had lots of good laughs. Man....I sure miss him but I'm so proud of him too!! Then this morning we saw him on the web cam. It sure made our Christmas great!!!

Lights
Last night we went to Thanksgiving Point to see the light. Kingston loves lights!!! We road on a wagon pulled by a tractor. Despite the freezing cold Kingston was amazed at them and kept saying, "Wow....lights." It was fun to watch him.
We were all happy to get back into the warm cars. :)
ps. Jaron came home today after an adventurous trip to Vegas for Marching Band (the bowl). Glad he's here!!
