food and flowers

These are the beautiful flowers that Steve bought for me. I love flowers. Some people say that they are a waste of money cuz they die. I don't believe that because of the joy they give you while they're alive. They brighten up the room .....and me.

If you can't tell what these are....they are gummy worms. Yep...Steve also bought me 3 bags of them for me to enjoy while I mend (one of my favorite snacks). And they will be gone soon.

So by the end of the six weeks or the next time you see me I will be heavier from eating all day long and sitting around. And just to add more fuel to the fire........chocolate chip cookies are in the oven.
